After Seema lost her mum to ovarian cancer, she felt that she had to do something to raise awareness and funds. She became a brand ambassador and campaigner: “I'm proud to support the TAKE OVAR campaign to raise awareness among women, to look out for symptoms and also educate people in all walks of life, from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities as well – because it affects everybody.”

I think it's time that we actually made some more headway in terms of research for Target Ovarian Cancer. We need to raise vital funds so we can do more research to find new treatments for ovarian cancer.
